Privacy Policy

StayLens (“we”) is a lodging search product operated by Cosmoneural. This policy says plainly what we collect, why, and what control you have. The short version: search is anonymous, accounts are optional, we never sell personal data, and everything we store exists to make your own searches and plans work.
What we collect
- Anonymous guest session. A random identifier in a cookie so your searches and chats survive a page reload. It expires after 30 days and is deleted automatically.
- Searches and conversations. Your prompts, the structured searches derived from them, and result snapshots — so history and plans work. Claimed by your account if you sign up.
- Account data (only if you sign in with Google): name, email, profile photo, plus anything you add — search defaults, preferences, wishlist, plans, linked social handles.
- Location — only when you ask a “near me” search, used once per search and never stored.
- Usage analytics — page views, interactions, and errors — to keep the product working.
What we do with it
- Run your searches and rank results around your anchors.
- Process prompts and reviews with AI to understand requests and summarize guest reviews. Your prompts are not used to train AI models.
- Watch saved-stay prices and notify you of meaningful changes.
- Personalize interpretation of your prompts using your own preferences, history, and any profile tags from analytics integrations you connect.
We do not sell personal data, run third-party ad trackers, or share your data with anyone except the processors below.
Who processes data for us
A small set of service providers, each limited to its job: cloud hosting and database infrastructure (which may store data outside your country, including in the United States), AI processing, our licensed lodging-supply partners (who receive only search parameters — area, dates, party size — never your identity), mapping services, and product analytics. Booking is completed on provider sites under their own policies.
Retention & your rights
- Guest sessions: deleted after 30 days.
- Account data: kept until you ask us to delete it.
- You may request a copy or deletion of everything we hold about you at hello@staylens.app — we honour access and erasure requests regardless of where you live, in the spirit of the GDPR.
Cookies
Strictly-functional cookies only: your session, your guest identifier, and analytics identifiers. No advertising cookies.
